Who are we?
We are a cooking collective from the Ruhrgebiet and we like to cook for emancipatory events or actions.
How many people can we cook for?
So far we have cooked for a maximum of about 350 people on a camp for one week. However, we only have our own equipment for about 100 people. We can also imagine cooking again for larger and longer events (200+ people), but for that we would need more lead time than for smaller events.
How much does the whole thing cost?
We try to dumpster dive as much food as possible or save it in other ways and mostly just buy dry goods like oatmeal. Of course we are happy about donations and in a way we depend on them, but we don’t expect any (financial) return for cooking.
If there are more than 200 people or if we should cook for a longer period of time, we will probably have to spend more money. In such a case, however, we can simply clarify again how we will finance the food.
